We see the emergence of Indoor Air Quality as one of greatest impacts to our industry since the introduction of LEED standards. IAQ has rapidly accelerated to the forefront of priorities in managing buildings due to COVID. This presentation will discuss the next generation of ionization products used to optimize Indoor Air Quality as well as to save energy.
New innovations enable regulated and controlled ion production that takes into account indoor environment conditions to deliver the ideal balance of positive and negative ions. In addition, the optimal balance is continuously measured and controlled with space condition feedback to adjust output as indoor environments change. Ionization controllers also interface to the building management system. Intelligent ionization creates and maintains an optimal ion balance by sensing, predicting, and managing air ionization levels.
Christian began his career in the United States Airforce as a 2M0X3, specializing in nuclear facilities and space lift activities. During his time in the USAF he worked within the Power, Refrigeration, and Electronics Laboratory. The laboratory was tasked with repairing equipment and components that were unable to be resolved in the field. Once resolved, they were tasked with writing technical orders for addressing deficiencies in the future.
Upon his exit from the USAF, Christian began installing and servicing HVACR systems across Texas. Christian gained numerous HVACR related certifications and licenses. He designed and executed on numerous federal improvement projects across the state. It was at this time, the deficiencies in indoor air quality technologies where identified. Based on his time within PREL, he began to diagnose and fix the techniques of ionization-based systems.
In 2015, Christian was asked to join a Fortune 500’s ESCO division, where he would help to lead their project development across Texas. During his time in the ESCO industry, Christian designed and implemented in excess of $200 million worth of capital projects. These projects saved in excess of $500 million in utility and operations spend.
Christian witnessed numerous scientifically baseless claims associated with endorsed technologies and band aid solutions. In 2020, Christian founded IAQ-cpr to revolutionize the industry, from marketing magic and band aid solutions, to scientifically backed permanent remedies.
