Creating Best Practices Through Strategic Energy Management
Raytheon Technologies has a long legacy of energy conservation dating back to the 1970's. Strategic energy management has always been a critical part of success, and this presentation will provide a review of best practices, lessons learned and recommendations for other end users to create strategic and impactful energy plans.
Dave is currently employed by Raytheon Technologies as a principal energy engineer. He is a member of the Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) Energy Team responsible for energy and water management of the RMD business, which includes over 10 million square feet of office, laboratory and manufacturing facilities. He also has a key role with Raytheon Technologies’ company-wide energy team and has managed Raytheon’s ENERGY STAR partnership.
Dave has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of New Hampshire
(1984) and an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University (1989). He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Massachusetts, and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He previously worked as a mechanical engineer for Raytheon Company in Sudbury, MA, from 1985-1991, then as a general engineer for the U.S. Department of Energy in Boston, MA, from 1991-1997.
