Best Practices in Delivering Industrial Energy Efficiency
The industrial sector has significant and unique energy needs, which require personalized advisory services and customized solutions to address production and process-related challenges. As a result, industrial customers need specialized energy advisory services to address process and operational improvements as well as energy-efficient equipment upgrades with integrated control strategies. In order for industrial customers to participate in utility sponsored energy efficiency programs specialized industrial energy efficiency services are needed. This session will explore the components of a successful industrial energy efficiency program.
Ron Gillooly is currently Industrial Energy Program Director at Leidos. Mr. Gillooly was most recently Director of Business Development for Horizon Energy Services where he was instrumental in increasing sales 26% from 2013 to 2014. Prior to his role at Horizon, Ron worked at National Grid for twenty one years holding various positions in account management, community relations, and marketing premium services to commercial and industrial customers. In his current role as Industrial Energy Program Director, Mr. Gillooly is responsible for Leidos implementation and growth of Leidos Energy Management programs in the Northeast. Mr. Gillooly previously served as a guest lecturer in energy auditing at Worcester Polytechnic Institute Center for Sustainability in Business. He is a graduate of Rhode Island College and is a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers. Mr. Gillooly is currently on the Board of Directors of the New England Chapter of The Association of Energy Engineers and past president.
